These includes simpler single prism products like Google Glass or more complex products like Microsoft’s Hololens. Smart glasses are more than just a wearable device or a next-generation smartphone. “Telephone”. Smart glasses are a new word in communication technology.

How do AR glasses work?

AR glasses have many features, but in general, these devices use a front camera in combination with software that can recognize specific anchor points and landmarks. For example, if you’re using AR software designed to decorate your home, it will recognize things like window frames or corners where two walls meet. Using this data, the program can create images of curtains and potted plants and “place” them in your field of vision, projecting them onto the lenses of glasses on your face.
Of course, this is just an ex.; in fact, the functionality is limited only by the creativity of the developer. On: With built-in microphones, AR glasses can easily communicate with Alexa or Siri for voice searches and display results right in front of your eyes.
Art AR glasses can measure the space around you, so you can use hand gestures to control the image you see. There are message notifications that appear discreetly in the field of view, which can be noticed and closed without interruption when the phone is taken out.
With built-in GPS technology, virtual arrows appear in your field of view and help you to navigate,
so you never get lost again. If you find it surprising that this kind of functionality can come in a package as thin and light as a pair of glasses, remember that all this and more is already built into smart contact lenses.  they are being developed in conjunction with miniature solar panel technology. Plus, the instant body touch allows smart contact lenses to track all kinds of health data, from glaucoma symptoms to blood sugar levels.
